Alzheimer’s Society Big Bake Bonanza Day at MS Head Office

It was a day of eating lots of food on 16th May when we supported the Alzheimer’s Society Big Bake Bonanza.

To say we were full was an understatement!  After a successful effort from the Director’s supporting Macmillan Cancer Support last September, it was the turn of the Admin Team to better the Director’s efforts and provide delicious treats throughout the day.

We started off with homemade brownies & cornflake cakes for a mid-morning snack, followed by a tasty chilli, nachos and pizza wheels for lunch. You’d think we’d be full from that, but no! To ensure everyone went home bursting at the seams, we had afternoon tea treat of scones, lemon drizzle cake and banana loaf!

A sterling effort from the Admin Team and everyone fully supporting this worthy cause, saw us raise £200 plus gift aid donations which was matched by the company.

Look out for next year’s post where we are supporting Macmillan Cancer Research on yearly rotations – we are already starting to dream of the delicious treats the Accounts Team will conjure up!
